What’s newFor teachers
Your students can now save you and book again in one tap
Students now have My teachers: a list of the teachers they saved with a heart, followed by everyone they've had lessons with. Here is what they see and what it means for you.
What your students see
- A heart on your card in the teacher list and on your profile. Saving you puts you at the top of their My teachers list.
- On their dashboard and in My teachers, your row shows their next or last lesson with you, how many lessons you've had together, and three buttons: Book again, Same time every week and Message.
- After a lesson, the end screen lets them save you and book the same time next week.
Nothing about your profile, prices or calendar changes. Students only ever see times that are open on your calendar.
How "Book again" reaches you
Book again opens your booking card on the same lesson length the student took last time. When they book, you get an ordinary lesson request — accept or decline it exactly as you do today. The student pays the usual way (a lesson credit first, otherwise their balance), and your earnings for the lesson work exactly as for any other lesson.
How weekly bookings reach you
When a student books the same time every week, you get one grouped request — for example "3 weekly lessons, every Tuesday at 19:00, your time" — with Accept all and Decline all. Every lesson is still listed underneath, so you can accept or decline lessons one by one.
- Only weeks that are open on your calendar can be booked. A week you're busy is shown to the student as not available and is never booked.
- Each lesson is an ordinary lesson: it is paid, cancelled, moved and paid out to you lesson by lesson, under your usual terms.
- If you can't keep the time any more, decline the lessons you can't teach, or message the student.
A gentle reminder for students
A week after a lesson, if the student has nothing booked, we send them one friendly reminder with a Book again button for you — at most one between two lessons. Students can switch these reminders off. You don't need to do anything.
Tips
- Keep your weekly hours up to date — repeat bookings follow your calendar.
- Let students know they can save you with the heart and use Same time every week if they want a fixed slot.
