When another teacher is asked to teach your lesson (students)

Sometimes your teacher can't teach a lesson, for example when they're ill or travelling. Instead of cancelling, they can ask another KoloLingo teacher to cover it. You decide: nothing changes unless you agree.

How you're asked

When the colleague has said yes, you get a notification and an email. You'll also see it:

• on your dashboard under Needs you;
• on the lesson in My lessons: "… asked … to teach this lesson".

What you see

The request shows the lesson's time and the colleague's profile: their photo, the languages they teach, their rating and a few words about them. You can open their full profile before you decide.

Deciding

• Yes, … can teach it: the colleague teaches the lesson. The time, the room link and the price stay exactly the same, and you can message the new teacher from your messages.
• Keep it with …: nothing changes. Your teacher is told and the lesson stays with them.

If you don't answer by the time shown on the request, nothing changes and the lesson stays with your teacher. You never pay anything extra for a cover.
