About me
Hi, I’m Maita, a Licensed Professional Teacher with over 17 years of experience in education, including more than a decade in international schools. I support children and young learners in English, reading, writing, literacy, ELA, and academic learning through personalized lessons designed around their individual needs and goals. My experience includes early literacy and phonics, reading comprehension, writing development, academic English, and support for multilingual learners. I have taught learners from diverse backgrounds and worked with international curricula and approaches, including Cambridge Primary, IPC, and U.S.-based standards. My lessons are supportive, structured, and interactive. I want learners to do more than complete an activity—I want them to understand what they are learning, communicate their ideas, and gradually become more independent and confident.
