Most people get stuck not because they lack vocabulary, but because they freeze up when it is time to have a real conversation with a real person. That is exactly what we work on together. My goal is simple: get you comfortable, build your natural speaking rhythm, and help you talk about things you actually care about in a patient, low-pressure environment. How We Can Spend Our Time: Everyday Conversation: We can talk about your day, hobbies, life in Norway, culture, or whatever is on your mind. It is casual, fun, and focused on making your speech feel effortless. Work & Career: If you are navigating a job in Norway or an English-speaking office, we can practice workplace banter, industry terms, meeting phrases, and job interviews so you feel secure and confident on the clock.A Story-Driven Track (Totally Optional): If you prefer having a fun storyline to guide our discussions rather than open chit-chat, we can read through my ongoing writing project, Heimskringla Nova. It explores what happens if Norway's ancient king, Harald Hårfagre, has to navigate modern society, laws, and daily life. It is entirely optional, but a great way to absorb culture and vocabulary naturally. Zero Stress Over Note-Taking. You do not have to scramble to write down every new word while we speak. The platform automatically logs our new phrases, vocabulary, and corrections as we go, so you will always have a clean summary waiting for you after class.
