About me
Hello there! I am Courtney, I am from South Africa although I spent around 19 years living in the UK so I might sound more like a Brit! I have been in Education for around ten years now starting as a Teaching Assistant in a UK school working with children aged between 4-6. I focused specifically on those with special educational needs. Much of this time was spent assisting with reading both individually and in groups. I started teaching English online in 2017 and have been doing that since. I love to see how students can thrive when learning new English skills grows their confidence. It's important to me that my students feel happy speaking the English language even if its a challenge. I love books, cooking and sci-fi. I love to chat, about many different things and enjoy learning from others. Why not come have a chat with? See you soon
