About me

I’m originally from northern Italy and have lived in the UK since the age of 18. I completed my university studies there in languages, linguistics and the humanities and I have spent the past 23 years living, working and thinking in English. Therefore, I bring both a native understanding of Italian and over two decades of daily experience using English in anglophone settings. I have been teaching languages for 12 years across Europe, Asia and online. I teach both Italian and English to adults and children, from complete beginners to advanced learners. My qualifications include CELTA, DELTA and TKT certifications, as well as an MA in European Language with a focus on Linguistics. My teaching is structured, purposeful and tailored to each student's needs. I use the Present–Practise–Produce (PPP) approach, guiding students from clear explanations and focused exercises to independent, confident use of the language. I combine established teaching materials with custom-made worksheets and interactive activities, provided free of charge. Whether you're learning Italian from scratch, improving your English for work, preparing for an exam or helping your child develop language skills, my aim is to provide professional, engaging lessons with clear objectives and measurable progress.
